This cache was funded in part by the RDPE

The Nar Valley Way

Experience the historical and picturesque views of this section of the Nar Valley Way between Castle Acre and West Acre The Nar Valley Way is a walking route from Gressenhall to King's Lynn.

This series is placed on a section is between Castle Acre and West Acre, both of which are steeped in history. The trail begins in Castle Acre. If you are interested in history then visit the remains of the Castle and the Priory nearby.

Just beyond this cache is West Acre. If you are interested in history then look out for the priory remains to the left just past this cache. Also in the village look out for the church, the gate house and the estate office (with thatched roof and wooden panelling).


There are some amenities in West Acre.

This cache is part of the Nar Valley Way Geocaching Series placed by the Norfolk Trails.

This cache is a small container within a camouflage bag.

Parking is available at Castle Acre and West Acre.
