The cache is located a short distance from the coolest outhouse around. The facility is part of a camping area in South Esther Island State Marine Park. Access via the cove itself or by trail from the nearby hatchery.
The Esther fish hatchery, run by the Prince William Sound Aquaculture Corporation (PWSAC), is one of the largest in the world, and currently produces 4 species of salmon (Pink, Chum, Coho, and Chinook), which are released into the wild in Prince William Sound, many of them remotely. Tours of the facility are available on request, and are very informative. A trail from the back of the main building crosses a small bridge, branches up to a viewpoint of Esther Falls, and also branches over to the camping area and the cache site.
The cache name refers to what might have been carved into the door rather than the actual name of the cove. Use caution if landing at the beach in the cove, as there are a number of submerged rocks.
Cache is a 2 gallon plastic bucket painted green. EDIT 3/24/14 - cache was muggled - now a green water bottle
Terrain rating is high because you need a boat or two to get there. One boat to get to Lake Bay, and a small one to get to shore - the hatchery discourages tying up at their dock, and there is no dock in the cove. Actual terrain at GZ probably closer to a 2.
