Roxwell Brook, although looking quite shallow most of the year, can still flood. Christmas Day 2012 was memorable in that the water overflowed the banks and flooded fields and streets in the village.
Upon replacing the cache, take note of the nifty dog gate. You don't need to cross the bridge - continue along the fields with the stream on your left.
Please note there have been horses in the field between #2 and #3 which were not there when the series were placed. They come up to you but if you keep walking and ignore them they shouldn't hurt you. However, if you don't fancy the encounter, you can walk direct from #1 to #3 via the road, without going through the horse fields.
