In the Loop redux Traditional Cache

This is a redux of the GC1F914 geocache that was previously placed here. Cache is at the edge of the treeline, no real trail to it, but the location will stand out as you approach it.
John and Hellen Bialek moved to the farm formerly locacted here about 1940-41. On this farm they raised a lot of beef and four daughters. On the way to the cache site you'll pass a redwood tree. John brought this tree from California in the early 1960's and planted it in front of their house. In the early 1990's the state acquired the property for the constuction of the on ramp to Hwy 18. The redwood tree is about all that remains of the Bialek farm. The state did install crosswalks to provide a safe crossing of the road from the parking area to the cache site. 9/18/13 replaced cache container with one that is more weatherproof. Congrats to Qaz&Kids for FTF!
