Eee I Eee I O Traditional Cache
gigiandgramps: When we placed this cache, remnants of the old place were still standing. Came by the first of the Summer and there was a corn field where the old place was, and the old place is a heap of rubble just to the South. The cache was still in place on a sign post. The sign was gone, but the post was still there. Came by today and the post and cache are all gone. Leaving us no choice but to archive. Enjoyed it while we had it. Thanks for enjoying it with us.

CONGRATS to pmmcnabb FOR THE FIRST TO FIND!!! And as well they should be, since we had no history on this location, but they have first hand history and are willing to share.
The information below is quoted from their FTF post.
wow! i've never been the first to find one before! cool! AND, i can tell you the history of this place. my dad's uncle, a man with the last name of patman, moved to what is now that pile of boards that used to be a house, back in 1949. he farmed that land. the house was small -- one bedroom, a kitchen, & bathroom. and when my dad was a kid, he kept his horse named bubbles in the little barn that is still standing. i so often see these old falling down houses beside the road and wonder what their history is. maybe other people do too. and here's some history to this old house.
