Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a pilot project between the Iowa DNR and the IGO designed to evaluate geocaching in Iowa's state parks. The project will evaluate 25 caches at Honey Creek Park for one year. Each cache will have an approved permit.

NINE EAGLES STATE PARK
(1,119 acres)
Soaring oak trees, rugged woodland hills and green valleys make Nine Eagles one of southern Iowa’s most scenic parks. White-tailed deer and waterfowl diving for dinner are a common sight.
Surround yourself with the park’s natural beauty while enjoying your favorite outdoor activities. Equestrians are welcome to explore bridle trails and camp with their equine best friend.
Row out on the lake and wait for a bite on the line or relax on the beach.
Parents can take in the beauty of the lake while kids romp on the playground.
