Geocache Description:

Drillham is another small town on the Warrago Highway. Drillhan originated as a railway town in 1878. A railway weir provided the town with water for the steam locomotives. A railway camp was established while the bridge was built over the river. Reminders of hardships endured by the railway workers can be seen today in the form of a roadside cairn commemorating their efforts.
