This cache has been placed in Ingham Rotary Park, a great place to stop and have a break as you travel up and down the Eastern coast of Australia. This park is used for many things but specificaly the Maraka Festival which occurs in October Every year.
Maraka is an aboriginal word meaning "pleasent evening" or "happy get together". The festival is a time of celebration with a street parade including floats from a varitey of local orginisations, a concert, food, rides and the crowning of the Marak Queen. The cache is a magnetic eclipse mint tin. It contains a lognbook, pencil and a coin to start with.
