Fairchild Air Force Base: History Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

KC7DQM: Strange, I archived this one almost a year ago, but it didn't take I guess. The land is now private and that means, bye bye. Sad, I liked this one.

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates! Please do not attempt to go to the location as it is on Fairchild AFB.

Fairchild Air Force Base has had a rich history, one I encourage everyone to read about. However, it has not been without its tragedies and darker times. The base has been listed as “Tree City” numerous times due to the large number of various trees all around the base. It is home to various forms of wildlife including whitetail and mule deer, quail, rabbits, and more. There is a terrific aircraft museum as well. If possible, I suggest visiting one of the most beautiful Air Force Bases Air Force wide. Remember, this is History, not events of today.
