If you're walking, go to the trail head near N 35 09.875' W 106 39.563 (this is a very lightly used path). Head for N 35 09.909' W 106 39.607'. You'll have to pass through two jetty-jacks and their cables.
If you're biking, ride a little farther to N 35 09.773' W 106 39.634' for a more heavily traveled trail. At N 35 09.822' W 106 39.684, head for N 35 09.909' W 106 39.607' (this would be a good place to park your bike).
If you come from the south (~1.9 mi.), you can park near N 35 08.611' W 106 40.268'. At approx. N 35 08.616' W 106 40.264' head to N 35 08.663' W 106 40.478'. Go to N 35 09.773' W 106 39.634' for a heavily traveled trail. At N 35 09.822' W 106 39.684, head for N 35 09.909' W 106 39.607' (this would be a good place to park your bike).
