De här tre härbrena är timrade med den medeltida timringsteknik som levde kvar i denna bygd ända in på 100-talet. De har så kallade rännknutar, en knuttyp som saknar hak på undersidan av stocken och har en lång halsning. Stockarna i härbrena är långsideshärbren med ingång på långsidan. Det mindre härbret är ett gavelhärbre där dörren sitter på den ena gaveln. Den har ursprungligen varit ett kvarnhärbre. Alla tre härbrena placerades i denna rad utmed Stikågatan vid det laga skiftet på 1970-talet.

Den här gården är bebodd så var snäll och respektera det. Gå inte in på gården. Härbrena kan ses från vägen där även informationsskylten är placerad!

These three storehouses were all built using the medieval log construcion technique, which survived in this area until the seventeenth century. They have furrow notches, a type with no rebate on the underside of the log butt with a long inclined sidecut. The logs in the storehouses are round and well worked. The two larger buildings are long-side storehouses with the entrance on the long side. The smaller one is a gable strehouse with the door in one of the gable ends. It was originally a mill storehouse. All three storehouses were moved here and placed in a row along Stikågatan when the enclosure reforms were implemented in Färnäs in the 1970s.

There are people living on this farm so please dont just walk in on the yard. The houses can be seen from the road where the informationsign is placed!
