Geocache Description:

St.Augustine's Church, Flintham

The church is dedicated to St Augustine of Canterbury, and has a Victorian nave attached to a Norman Tower and chancel.

The Church is a Grade I listed building and the surrounding boundary walls are Grade II listed.

There is a gate (marked Private) to the left of the entrance to the churchyard, this gate leads to Flintham Hall and part of the large glass conservatory can be seen from here.

For more information about the church and the village I suggest that you do the great Geocache Flintham Wander which starts from the church.

Please park considerately.
Do not drive to the cache as there is no parking and no turning.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
