After the old one burnt down, the local council built this swanky new Civic centre, complete with its own power plant, wetlands, and Art precinct.
Continuation of the YBIIA theme started by DAK's Emu Mob, and continued with permission from The Rebel Alliance.
Looking reminiscent of a much larger cousin (Deborah Halpern's Angel) that used to guard the entrance to the Art Gallery and now gracing the banks of the Yarra at Birrarung Marr, this baby sculpturette is a bit of a focal point during the day.
Thanks LadioActive for finding some details: this sculpture is titled 'Water Creature', and it is by aforementioned artiste.
Loitering with a coffee in hand is perfect cover if you lean on the railing to admire said art, OR visit after hours and have the square to yourself, OR do the entire sculpture-walk at your leisure. See if you can spot the much maligned "Sidle"
Given the surroundings at GZ the experienced Jeeker will guess the MO pretty easily, so don't resort to the clue unless you are really stumped.
