This is the RHR series of caches created by my family for our annual Christmas art competition. My alter-ego is Queen Alice who was supreme ruler and judge for the 2012 contest.
Cameron: Cameron is very young, so he had a bit of help with his cache. There is a small lock with some keys attached to open the cache. Should the keys go missing, feel free to cut open the ribbon and pack it out! Enjoy the cache prizes he helped create!
------------------------------------------------------
(If you end up on the trail first, there is a good chance you'll pick up all the FTFs. Please only take one FTF prize though so others can enjoy!)
The American Chestnut Land Trust was kind enough to grant permission for these hides. All caches in this series are easily accessible from the Yellow Trail using the Girl Scout Switchback. There should be LITTLE to NO BUSHWHACKING required to make the find in order to preserve the integrity of the area. There are several steep areas along the trail, but with a few exceptions, these hides are very kid-friendly and will make for a nice outing with friends and family. Please observe all the trail rules included in the South Side Trail Guide which you will find at the sign-in area close to parking and the trailhead.
Other notes: The coordinates are the best I could come up with in such a wooded area. Geosense will help you locate most of them, even if the coordinates are off. If you come up with a better set of coordinates, by all means POST THEM for others!
Once you log finds for all 10 caches and post a picture of yourself with each, send me your address and I'll mail you the pathtag! (The photo is not mandatory to log a smiley.)
