Several days ago, my family and I hiked to the Bat Cave in Griffith Park. My youngest son (4) took one look at the Hollywood sign, and was determined to go and find the secret passageway to the Underworld, as he saw in 'Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief.' Several days later, we made this hike up to the sign, at his request (I cannot believe he made it the whole way!) and decided to hide this cache to remember our first visits to these two great trails. There are several other caches on this trail - Enjoy!
The cache is hidden on a side trail, under a bush. Look for a geopile. Watch for snakes!
