Geocache Description:

Quick C&D  micro w/ an awesome view of the Neversink Resevoir.

This is the Neversink Resevoir. A whole town of Bittersweet and Hamlet of Neversink was flooded on June 4, 1953 to create this NYC water supply. While you are here go check out that little information booth in the pull-off by Divine Corners Rd. Please do NOT step over the guard rails as this is dangerous terrain. Also you need to possess a NYC water supply permit to access the property. The cache is a micro located within reach of the posted coords so it's a quick C&D. Enjoy the view and the history. You may also spot one or more bald eagles in the area. Be as discreet as possible..Lots of eyes around.
