Geocache Description:

Kick Ice – All In – Go Bolts

Here’s a little puzzler that will require you to do some homework on our Tampa Bay Lightning. Some things might be pretty easy to find, some things not so much. But either way you’ll get a lesson on the Lightning and be on your way to being part of the Bolt Nation.

A – What was the jersey number that Ryan “Bugsy” Malone wore in 2011 other than his familiar #12?

B – On what day in October of 1992 did the fledgling Tampa Bay Lightning first take to the ice in Tampa's tiny 11,000-seat Expo Hall at the Florida State Fairgrounds?  It’s also how many goals they scored that day.

C– On what day in March of 2001 did the Lightning obtain goalie Nikolai Khabibulin from Phoenix?

D – What day in July of 2008 was defenseman Dan Boyle traded to the San Jose Sharks?

E – In playoff Game 7 on  June 7, 2004 when the Lightning won the Stanley Cup, how many goals did Ruslan Fedotenko score?

F – During 1998-1999, his first season with the Lightning, what jersey number did defenseman Pavel Kubina wear?

Once you’ve answered these tricky little questions you’ll be ready to fill out this formula and on your way to a find.

N 27 56.ABC W 082 27.DEF

With those cords in hand you’re ready to go rub elbows with the Chief and make your find. Definitely a Tampa iconic place and the biggest hang out for we local Lightning fans. This is a micro so be sure to bring your own pen and hang around and watch a game, have some wings (mmmmm) and cheer for our Lightning!

GO BOLTS!!!

Enjoy,
iMPG
