When searching for this unique cache location, I literally stumbled over an old, electric, clothes iron someone had discarded in the middle of the woods. Why? I haven’t a clue. Hence, the name.
You are looking for an ammo can placed in a difficult location. Please return the cache exactly as you found it so that the next cacher can enjoy it.
Broemmelsiek Park is one of the newest St. Charles County Parks with more than ten miles of multi-use trails for hikers, bikers and equestrian users. Additionally, it has an Off-Leash Dog Area with its own lake, a five acre fishing lake and a unique Public Astronomy Viewing area. Park Department number, 636-949-7535.
The park is located in St. Charles County off of Schwede Road. Take I-64/40-61 to the Highway DD/Winghaven Exit. Take Highway DD south approximately 3.8 miles to Schwede Road. Turn West on Schwede and look for the park signs within 1/2 mile. The equestrian parking lot (coordinates below) puts you a little over 1/10th of a mile from cache.
