Geocache Description:

This is a nano and is placed in a high muggle area in the center of town in a park area that can be very busy at times. I have been thinking of placing a cache here for some time. Oh and it is magnetic. The higher dif. ratting is due the container size and the muggle factor it may be almost impossible at times to get at it but be resourceful and you will find and retrieve it.

Powell Park in down town Port Dover. There are some great events held in and around this park through out the year.There are a few different monuments in the Park and this cache will bring you to one of them. We call it the Barrett Anchor it was donated in 1969 by the Barrett family to honor T.B. Barrett M.P. and dedecated to him in 1976. Time refers to the Town clock across the road. When we were kids we would alway try and blame the clock when we got home late. However it was well known that the clock was never right and our parents did not bye it for a minute even if you clammed you thought it was. The clock has more then one face and at times they all said a different time. I have some good memories of this park of bands playing, family pic-nic,all  the kids gathering in the park on halloween and devils night,watching the July 1st parade from the park and different kraft shows that are held in the park.
