Geocache Description:

This is a friendly experience for all, located close to a park and accessible for almost everyone. You will not be required to use the ladders to find this cache - some "ducking" may be necessary.

This 35 ton locomotive began its service in 1931, taking passengers and freight from the hub of Gananoque to the main CN Rail line which connected to the big cities of Toronto and Montreal. It made its last run in 1960 and can be found here today, in its final resting place. Come and see the engine. Explore the Confederation Park. Enjoy!
