This takes you to a memorial to a great South Carolinian. The cache container is a preform tube. BYOP. It is not located at the co-ordinates listed above, but it is nearby.
Mark Garner was the Mayor of Myrtle Beach and President of the Sun News. He served on many councils, boards and authorities. He was also chairman of the South Carolina Travel Council, the Leadership Grand Strand Board of Regents and the Area Council on Transportation. He was instrumental in the development of the U.S. 17 Bypass and the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. He created the annual Sun Fun Festival, reorganized the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, founded The Sun News and is described as "the shaper of modern Myrtle Beach", having changed the once relatively quiet coastal town into the State's top tourist attraction and a thriving seaside city. Among many awards he was a recipient of the Grand Strand Citizen of the Year Award.
