An impromptu cache, inspired by a telephone call with one of our favorite local cachers. Will require a bushwack and some searching after a nice stroll down a fire road around Liberty Reservoir. Beautiful Hike, and a nice quite spot.
After a nice discussion about a series of geocaching related topics, we were inspired to head out a place a few hides. This is the second one we did that afternoon. While there are always some more complex and diabolical hides in the works here in the bowels of the Z&S Caching Laboratory, there are always a few more standard containers alll set up and ready to go. Maybe this was one of those?
This is a small, reasonably well camoflaged container. If you have done other caches of ours, you may have seen this sort of thing before. If not, it is not big enough to hold a small salami, but it is too small to fit your GPSr in.
The hint may not be helpful. Or maybe it will be. Creating the hint is always the hardest part for the hider.
Happy hunting!
WARNING: From September to January this is very active deer hunting territory. Take all necessary precautions when entering and searching this area.
As with all your searches, please do some research, and use good voyage planning techniques. Know your limitations, employ risk management, and don’t take on something that is beyond your capability. Some of you do this all the time, some rarely; in the end, it is you who are accountable for what happens to you, mentally, emotionally and physically as the result of seeking this hide.
