The Schuylkill Valley Heritage Trail is a nice place to take a run or jog. We've learned that having some caches along the way just adds to the interest and enjoyment of a nice walk.
Parking is available at the trailhead, and at various patches along 209. Do not drive or park on the trail, and please maintain control of - and pick up after your animals.
The caches in this series are located slightly off the trail, opposite the northbound side of the highway - and are roughly 2 tenths of a mile apart.
This cache is located within sight of the trail. Think about your approach - as there are jaggers* around to stick you. The container is a homemade micro, containing a log only - BYOP. Congrats to AR061407WZ for the FTF !! Nice !!
* = "jaggers" is Pittsburghese for briars, stickers or thorns.
