"They're dead, they're all messed up."
This cache is to pay tribute to George Romero's 1968 black and white independent movie that has become one of the classic horror films of all time.
I saw Night of the Living Dead sometime in the 1970s and from here developed a love for horror films. My father was working late and my little brother was in bed when my mother and I first watched this movie late at night. We lived in the country so after the movie ended we spent 2 hours discussing how we would board up the house, rip off all doors to use to block the windows, find enough nails, get gasoline and rip sheets into strips for molotov cocktails, and prepare for the living dead in general. It was so exciting!
To log this cache you will have to watch the movie and get the answers. This movie is in black and white, yet still very scary. It may be too intense for younger children, so please keep that in mind. I found it easy to stream for free online at various sites. It is an awesome movie that I personally never get tired of watching.
All the answers are in chronological order. In other words, the answer to A will occur in the movie then the answer to B then the answer to C, etc.

A. What time is it when Johnny and Barbara pull into the cemetery? Divide this answer by 2.
B. How many hours is their drive back? Add 1 to this answer.
C. How many pens does Johnny have in his shirt pocket at the cemetery? Add 3 to this answer.
D. When Ben looks out of the window of the house, how many zombies does he tell Barbara he sees? Subtract 2 from this number.
E. After Ben looks back at the diner to see if there is anyone who can help him and sees the entire place has been encircled, how many of "those things" does he realize he was alone with? Use the first number he mentions and subtract 43.
F. How many of "those things" did Ben smash and push out the door? Add 2 to this number.
G. How many doors are there to the cellar? Add 5 to this number.
H. How many times does Ben shoot the male zombie in the unbuttoned white shirt with the shotgun before the zombie dies? Subtract 2 from that number.
I. When they get the TV to work and start watching it, how many chairs is the TV sitting on. This will be I.
J. How many letters are in the name of the rescue station located in Butler. Subtract 15 from this number.
K. How far is Willard from the house where the group is hiding? Subtract 13 from this number.
L. How many molotovs does Harry Cooper toss so Ben and Tom can get to the truck? Subtract 1 from this number.
M. At what time is there supposed to be another broadcast? Add 1 to this number.
N. How many of "those things" did chief McClellan and his crew kill? Subtract 13 from this number.
P. Chief McClellan says they should be wrapped up in _ or _ more hours. The first number is P.
