The Creswick Creek, although looking fairly subdued most of the year, has in recent times caused significant destruction both in Creswick and further downstream in Clunes. The area downstream of the bridge shows how overgrown with vegetation the creek has become and the creek looked very similar to this closer to town until flood mitigation works opened the creek up in 2012.
The first Cache for Wakkatoo. Harry is one of our geomutts and this is a favourite swimming hole of his. Not a bad spot to fish either. This can be accessed via the dirt track from the Ring Road. You can park within 10m of this cache. This road is accessable most of the year however take care in 2wd vehicles as there can be some large ruts and puddles at different times of the year.
