[CZ] Výstup na kopec (waypoint Viewpoint) vás odmění překrásným výhledem na část Jižní Moravy táhnoucí se od vrcholků Ždánického lesa až po začátek Českomoravské vrchoviny.
Přímo na jih leží obec Tvarožná s výrazným vrcholem Santon s kapličkou, dále na jih Pratecký vrch s Mohylou míru a trochu více na západ a dále na jih Výhon a za ním Pálava. Jihovýchodním směrem leží obec Sivice a v dálce za ní se táhne hřeben Ždánických vrchů. Za lesem, téměř přesně na západě, je vidět část obce Horákov, a za vámi vrchní části technologických zařízení cementárny v Mokré.
Cache vznikla jako určitá připomínka doby, kdy zde většina pozemků nebyla zarostlá travou do pasu a náletovými dřevinami, doby, kdy zde o víkendech bývalo živo snad až moc.
Trocha vinařské historie
Obec Sivice je jednou z nejsevernějších vinařských obcí Moravské vinařské oblasti. Vinohradnicky sice obec nikdy v historii nedosáhla věhlasu nedalekých Viničných Šumic, přesto zde má pěstování révy vinné dlouhou tradici.
Když se v 90.letech 20.století provádělo nové rozdělování do vinařských oblastí, vinařských obcí a vinařských tratí, spadaly štarcarské vinohrady do Brněnské vinařské oblasti, vinařské obce Sivice a měly i samostatnou trať Štarcary. Kromě Štarcarů byly v Sivicích ještě tratě Staré hory, Nové hory, Nedbaly a Štarcárky.
Na počátku 21.století ale došlo k administrativnímu sloučení vinařských oblastí a vinařských tratí do větších celků. Pod vinařskou trať Štarcary nyní patří i bývalé trati Nedbaly a Štarcárky.
Aktuálně místní vinohrady patří do vinařské oblasti Morava a brněnské vinařské podoblasti. Vinařská obec Sivice a trať Štarcary zůstávají.
Z letecké mapy je vidět, že Štarcary, Nedbaly i Štarcárky jsou rozděleny do úzkých dlouhých parcel, tzv. záhumenků. Do 90.let minulého století byly tyto záhumenky pečlivě obdělávány jak místními, tak postupně i novými vlastníky - "lufťáky", především z Brna.
Z pěstovaných odrůd révy jsou to především ty, které snáší sušší polohy chudé na živiny, především "burgundské" odrůdy - rulandské bílé, šedé i červené a chardonnay. Ve starších vinohradech se najde opravdová "všehochuť", a to včetně starých, mnohde již zapomenutých odrůd révy.
Současnost
Moderní, hektická doba drobnému zahrádkaření moc nesvědčí. Pozemky jsou postupně ponechávány svému osudu a obdělávaných zůstává jen několik.
Naštěstí jsou mezi nimi hlavně ty, které jsou osázeny révou vinnou.
Jak dlouho zde vinohrady ale vydrží, záleží především na tom, zda se najdou mladí, kteří převezmou otěže svých otců a dědů, budou mít chuť a odvahu vlastníma rukama, s omezenou mechanizací, ze zdejší poměrně chudé země získat ušlechtilé plody révy vinné.
Ke keši
Půjdete-li od parkoviště u "sivické" brány mokerské cementárny, budete mít po své pravé ruce pozemky patřící do původní vinařské trati Štarcary.
Při déle trvajícím suchém počasí je možné dojet poměrně blízko ke keši. Odstavujte ale svá geovozidla nejdále na vrcholu kopce a těch pár metrů už dojděte pěšky. Polní cesta je slepá a na jejím konci není místo na otočení.
Za mokra nebo v zimě se o drive-in ani nepokoušejte a využijte možnosti parkování u cementárny. Pod sněhem může být nalezení keše složité!
Prosím, NEVSTUPUJTE a NEVJÍŽDĚJTE na pozemky, které nejsou oploceny. I když vypadají (a možná i jsou) neobdělávané, mají své vlastníky.

[EN] After the climb on the hill (waypoint Viewpoint) you will be rewarded by a beautiful view of the part of South Moravia stretching from the hill tops of Zdanicky Forrest to the edge of Czechmoravian Highlands.
Directly to the south there is the village of Tvarozna with a hill Santon with a chapel, further to the south there is Pratecky Hill with the Cairn of Peace Memorial, a little more to the south-west there is Vyhon Hill and Palava Hills. In the south-east there lies the village of Sivice with a ridge of Zdanicky Forrest in the background. In the forrest, in the west, you can see a part of the Horakov village, and behind it the top of the technological equipment of a cement factory in Mokra.
The cache was created as a reminder of the time when most of the land was not overgrown with grass and trees, the time when this place used to be lively at the weekends.
A little wine history
Sivice village is one of the northernmost wine-growing villages of the Moravian wine region. Although the vineyard community has never reached the fame of the nearby vineyards in Vinicne Sumice, there is still a long wine-growing tradition.
In the 90s of the 20th century a new distribution to wine regions, wine-growing villages and wine tracks was carried out. Starcary vineyards were matched to the Brno wine region, wine village Sivice and it also had a separate wine track Starcary. In addition to Starcary, Sivice had other tracks: Old Mountain, New Mountain, Nedbaly and Starcarky.
Currently local vineyards belong to the wine region of Moravia and Brno wine region. Wine village Sivice and track Starcary have remained.
Aerial maps show that Starcary, Nedbaly and Starcarky are divided into long narrow plots, the crofts. In the 90s of the last century these plots were carefully cultivated by both local and gradually new owners - especially from Brno.
Grown varieties are mainly those that tolerate drier position, poor in nutrients, especially "Burgundy" varieties - Pinot blanc, Pinot gris and Pinot noir and Chardonnay. In older vineyards a mix of old forgotten varieties can be found.
Present
Modern hectic time is not favourable to minor gardening. Plots have been gradually left to their fate and just a few remain cultivated. Fortunately, among them are those that are planted with vines.
How long the vineyards will stay there depends primarily on the fact whether there will be young people who will take over the heritage from their fathers and grandfathers and if they will have the desire and courage to grow wine in the local barren soil only with their hands and limited mechanization.
The cache
If you walk from the parking lot at the Sivice's Gate of the cement factory Mokra (Waypoint Parking), on your right hand side there will be lands belonging to the original track Starcary.
In longer lasting dry weather is quite possible to get close to the cache. The furthest place where you can park your geocars is the top of the hill and you will have to walk the few meters left. The cart track is a dead end and at the end there is not enough place to turn your car.
In wet weather and in winter do not try to drive-in and take the advantage of the parking lot at the cement factory. Under the snow can be difficult to find the cache!
Please DO NOT ENTER and DO NOT DRIVE on the land that is not fenced. Even if they look (and perhaps are) abandoned, they have owners.
