Last cache in the series! A final chance for a bit of a challenge - one for Howie & Sally!
Down to the bottom of the common where the small stream runs in a ravine, with a glorious chunky oak on the top of the crag. A handy foot hold should launch you upwards into the comfortable embrace of the trees large arms. With the ravine dropping away, it soon feels quite high at least on one side. Cache is a small tube in a crevice.
From the tree head down to the end of the footpath and the road. Go left around the bend, and turn down the bridleway at Strawberry Syke. A nice track past a couple of cottages down to the old, quiet main road, and left to the parking options.
