Sticks & Stones
I heard it said amid the groans
Sticks and stones will break bones
But words will never do harm to you.
With sharpened tongues is this still true,
I am not wise enough to know
If this rhyme is or isn’t so.
But sticks and stones make a fine guise
From those who seek with prying eyes.
When ‘neath a stone or to limb is tied
The log holding container that you hide.
So make your search with skill and care
Checking with great diligence everywhere.
For I see no reason it can’t be you
Who becomes the first of us to view.
This little cache so carefully laid
By you the FTF can be made.
Don’t use sticks and stones to cause hurt
Nor your tongue cruel pain to blurt.
