Geocache Description:

BYOP - bison tube attached to a guardian.
This cache has a 'rite in rain' log if you find it damp just dry it with a cloth.
Please remember that bison tubes need only be tightened until they are snug
if they are tightened right up hard it will compromise the o-ring and cause them to leak. Thanks

The difficulty is rated high check the attributes.

This cache is situated within the Coal Creek Conservation Area. Foot visitors are welcome but NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES. I have included parking cords at the trailhead - you can also access the area from the parking located at our "Leg Up" cache just north along the old highway. Please DO NOT take your dogs into the area as there are lots of water fowl present.





Two honkers flew circles over head constantly telling all of our progress
Then landing they stretch their heads high to watch over our egress.
The green heads continued to tip and dip as they foraged along the edge
As if in their own world – which of course it now is again – among the sedge.
The decaying pilings like old soldiers row on row left by us still guarded
Though it is easily seen that their days are gone – they lean discarded.
Nature here does what she does best when left to her own means,
Restoring always – repairing the harsh impact of men and machines.
So time the ever relentless task master wins again - he can wait,
How many times is this I wonder now that he has reclaimed his strait?
