Geocache Description:

Every town needs a cache at the welcome sign! BYOP!

Welceome To Ucluelet! Uclulet = "a small drinking village with a fishing problem". Haha J/K. Ukee is a short for Ucluelet. Famous for our Ukee Days Festival always held the last weekend in July complete with a parade and logger sports. Ucluelet is great for whale watching, hiking, fishing, kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, relaxing on the beach and even GEOCACHING. We have a cool hands on Mini Aquarium and amazing Wild Pacific Trail! Ucluelet is a First Nations word meaning "People with a safe landing place".
