A great event for new cachers and veteran cachers alike! Learn to geocache with a personal guide and a borrowed GPS Device. All cachers who complete all 4 caches on the passport will earn a AnneCloseSprings Greenway "token" (see below)!
YoGO: York County Geocaching Organization and AnneSpringsClose Greenway have teamed up for the Greenway's Annual Earth Day celebration and would like to invite anyone who is interested in knowing more about geocaching to join us for a fun filled Geocaching event on April 20th beginning at 10:00am. Guided groups will be heading out on the trails every 30 minutes.
At this event, new cachers will learn about this exciting and fun outdoor activity. More experienced cachers can come on out to meet up with old friends and make new ones. In addition to the four caches placed for the event, there will be several new caches placed at the Greenway as well.
Cachers should wear comfy clothes, hiking/running shoes and a bring smartphone or gps if you have one.
Everyone who completes all 4 caches on the passport you will receive a special AnneSpringsClose Greenway token. (First 250 people only!) More details will be posted as an announcement to the event page prior to the event.
