Geocache Description:

A small cache hidden near the corner of 1st Line and 5th Sideroad.

We placed this cache to commemorate our kids first Scout Camp experience, with their fifth Meadovale Beaver colony.  The camp was held at Goodyear Memorial Scout Camp (visit link) , a little further along 1st Line, from March 22-24, 2013.  The kids (and adults) had a great time!  We tobogganed, did an obstacle course, had a snowball fight, followed a trail of clues, and of course had campfire! 

This cache will also serve as a good waypoint for getting to the camp; we found that our GPSr wanted to take us onto 1st Line directly off Hockley Rd., but that part of 1st Line is closed in the winter. 

We recommend you park at the side of 1st Line, it gets less traffic than 5th Sideroad.

The cache container is a camo'd 1kg peanut butter jar, and coordinates were averaged using an Oregon 550.  We've upped the terrain a little bit because of the possibility that the area the cache is in could flood (it was winter when we placed it) - please let us know if it does!
