Geocache Description:

We met at 9:00 AM in historic White Oaks, New Mexico at the No Scum Allowed Saloon.  Nice to see no forest closure and get a little moisture.  Meeting place, start & finish, is at the No Scum Allowed Saloon. The event focused on the Lincoln County War - you should, in no uncertain terms, KNOW that history now!

Our event is dedicated to the memory of a young and great cacher who has recently passed on - Angelbaby38, Sandra Anderson. She was really into our "sport-hobby." It is always hard to lose a great person, and Angelbaby38 was certainly one of those. Her parents are John and Linda Anderson, known in groundspeak as Docgeo and Lindabug ......................................................................................................................................................................... Billy the Kid Geofest: The Lincoln County War. You probably realize the owners made an exception on our part on "No Scum Allowed." ......................................................................................................................................................................... Event ran fairly smoothly between 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM. Participants indeed were very, very, very flexible and helped each other out, due to throwing you for a loop, monkey wrench......................................................................................................................................................................... Prizes were awarded on a point system based on difficulty. The top unusual piece of trash by cacher goarmymo was a vacuum cleaner found at "Army Road to Lincoln." Ah, some public lands visitors...
