Les bâtiments qui abritent aujourd'hui un centre de formation d'apprentis et une école d'éducateurs furent un orphelinat de 1876 à 1965. Tenu par des religieuses de Saint Vincent de Paul, on peut encore voir la chapelle. 
Il n'existe quasiment aucune information sur Internet à propos de cet orphelinat (si quelqu'un en a je suis preneur...). Les documents existants sont aux archives municipales de la ville d'Amiens.

Attention, l'endroit est assez fréquenté...
