Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed on the Clyde Walkway between Blantyre and Uddingston.

During your walk take time to admire the salmon leaping at the weir near the David Livingstone memorial or visit Bothwell Castle which is run by Historic Scotland. More information about this famous castle can be found here http://www.historic-scotland.gov.uk

If you approach from the David Livingstone memorial you can pick up some other caches on your route.

It's a beautiful walk along the Clyde. However this end is a favourite of the bucky boys. They're very friendly as we have occasion to know but hopefully the cache won't interfere with their leisure pursuits!

Boots or Wellies are a good idea as the path can be muddy in places.

This cache has been placed with the kind permission of South Lanarkshire Council and Scottish National Heritage.
