Geocache Description:

The Crags rain shelter is located in the Oakdale section of South Mountain Reservation.

Park in the Cherry Lane lot directly opposite the Orange reservoir. Enter the Oakdale trail just past the restroom facilities. When you reach the T junction, your GPS will direct you straight up. Take the trail on the right. It's easier and safer. The shelter was intended to be a viewpoint, but it's a little overgrown now. You can still see the reservoir in the Spring and in the Fall after the leaves have fallen. The cache is in a blue container. If you're so inclined, continue on the trail and complete the 2.5 mile loop back to your car. There is no access to the cache from local side streets so no trespassing please.
