Once upon a time, not too long ago, there was a group of girls who met regularly very near to this spot – just across the road, in fact. They enjoyed spending time at the park during the summer, and this is where they first discovered the fun that is geocaching. Upon successfully completing their “introduction to geocaching”, the girls from 1st Pakuranga Girls’ Brigade created and placed this cache in the hopes that the fun would continue well into the future.
Those who find themselves here are, we believe, a varied and interesting crowd, and surely there is a tale or two to be told among them. Please take a moment to add to the story of this cache, as well as signing your username and the date, take a photo of your story, and upload it alongside your log. This is not a requirement of claiming the find (only that you sign and date the log), but we do hope the story will go on, so go ahead and join the script!
NB. while you are under tree cover, this is a very popular park, and you are at the side of what has been described as the busiest (non-motorway) road in New Zealand, so please watch out for muggles, and take care to re-hide the cache well!
