Geocache Description:

Heading north on the Adirondack Northway (I-87)?  Why not take a little break to strech your legs and grab a quick cache at the same time! 

The cache is either a quick P&G or a short stroll depending on how you approach it. 

This is a fun cache for beginners, but you veterans out there will grab this quickly.  Watch for an upgraded cache at/near this location in the near future!

Please use caution if the area is busy, especially with the little ones. It's typically quiet, but traffic increases greatly during the summer tourist season.

Container is a 35mm film canister with log inside - BYOP.  Bison tube w/log inside for the FTF - Congrats to jburd001 for FTF honors!  Not intended for swag (none provided), but small items will fit.

Valcour Island, just a few miles from this location on Lake Champlain, was the site of one of the first naval battles of the American Revolutionary War on October 11, 1776.  More information on the Battle of Valcour Island is available by clicking HERE
