Take a ride on the Big Maggie May Trail. Four wheel drive is recommended. We rated the overall terrain a 3 if you’re coming from Seven Springs, but add another star if you’re planning on taking the Table Mesa road from I-17 as that road is rougher. The trail has some good climbs and descents, and it follows along Big Maggie May Creek.
The trail leaves Camp Creek and is marked FR 468. There are spectacular panoramic views from this cache. You can see Humboldt Mountain clearly in the distance. This spot offers a good photo opportunity.
This is a micro, so bring something to write with! As always, watch out for the desert critters and don’t forget the water.
