This is a simple multi based around sculptures on the grounds of the Seattle Union Hall. The listed coordinates will lead you to the first waypoint, where you will gather some required informaton. Along with additional information gathered at the next two waypoints and some simple math, the cache location can be determined. The final is further than normal from the other waypoints in an effort to avoid detection.
Visit the waypoints below to collect the data needed to determine the final waypoint.
- WP_1:
The date of the strike shown on Bill Bullwinkel's shirt: 19xx. ____(A)
The three digit number repeated twice in the middle of the sculpture: ____(B)
- WP_2:
How many bolts go through the splice plate near the man's right foot? _____(C)
- WP_3:
How many engines are on the plane the girl is holding? ____(D)
How many of her fingers are touching the airplane? ____(E)
(checksum: A+B+C+D+E=813)
To determine the final cache coordinates:
X = A + (the last 2 digits of B, transposed)
Y = ((B + C + D + E) / 3) + C + D
THEN...
Subtract .0X from the initial latitude
Subtract .Y from the initial longitude
You're looking for a container about the size of a "double wide" pop can.
Original contents: logbook & pen, bandaid dispenser, LED flashlight, crayons, and an unactivated NOAA Heritage Trail micro geocoin for FTF.
Congratulations to MaddiesDaddy for his FTF on 3/29/13.
