How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Valley's first GeoArt!

Caches are all identical containers hidden in similar fashion on Arizona State Trust land. You can obtain an annual individual permit for only $15 here.
There are no motorized vehicles allowed, so this is best discovered hiking or mountain biking. Please bring your own writing stick, no room for trades.

Please note:
  • Bring PLENTY of water - at least one liter for each hour in the desert sun
  • When caching in the desert, cache with a buddy, and tell someone where you will be
  • Good cell phone reception can be found throughout the GeoArt
  • This is natural Sonoran desert, so watch for snakes, bees, thorns, and other natural hazards
  • Unless you are part of a larger team, it is not recommended to attempt to complete the CA$H series in 1 day, especially in the summer months. Plan on 8 hours to complete the series if using a mountain bike.
