From the Butler Canyon parking lot, follow the trail and look for a small, less defined side-trail to the west that will take you up to an overlook of the main part of town. At the end of the trail - you will have to bushwhack a little up to the cache site. Enjoy the views!
After finding the cache, continue up the hill by the lava rock bowl and you will also be able to see the lakes to the north. BYOP
