A series of caches in places I used to frequent in northeast Calgary.
This series of caches was partly inspired by this particular location, and the Madonna song that pops into my head every time I walk by. This spot used to have a playground right in front of this bench.
(The bench is now off to the east of the cache location, but you can see it from here. Feel free to go sit and look at the non-existent playground in front of the bench.) ;)
You can sort of see a depression & outline of where something once stood. Now there is a school, community centre, baseball diamonds, and soccer fields. (The tennis court was always there with the playground.)
It was a small playground, but my friends and I visited it frequently, as it was the best and most central one in the neighbourhood where we all lived.
PLEASE NO spoiler logs! I want everyone to have the same experience finding it.
Bonus points to any of you who may have photos of this old playground - I don't think I have any pictures, so I'd love to see yours.
