COG Visits Europe
A Fingers Crossed Cache

We welcome you on your world tour to the region of Europe!

 Amsterdam

Europe has some terrific places to visit, you could start your tour in the city of Amsterdam, there's a cache right there at the train station.
Not far from the train station is a most unique geocache called Welcome to Amsterdam.

Oktoberfest
Next we can move on to Germany.
Visiting Germany during Oktoberfest is a highlight that many people make a special trip for. Catching a cache or two while you're there will highlight a large portion of your map.

The cache density in Germany is one of the most cache rich areas in  the world, so make sure you save yourself some time!

 Italy

A short drive from Germany and you will find yourself in sunny Italy. Italy has some of the most historic sites in the world for ruins that you can explore. Aside from the obvious Colloseum, there are many other unique buildings such as the Pantheon and the Roman Forum.

You could take your time and visit the large site at Pompeii, just take yourself a fair amount of water :)

FranceAs we near the end of our European tour we have to make a stop in France! Where else would one go, but Paris.

Once you get the hang of the Metro system, you will find yourself whizzing around the city. Visit the Louvre and see Mona, perhaps a trip up the famous Eiffel tower!
If you're feeling particularly adventurous, why not take the stairs from the ground to the second level. It's only about 670 steps.

UK

We arrive in the UK for the end of the tour. Britiain has a considerable amount of history in comparison to the U.S. and Canada!  Highlights to visit in the UK are Stone Henge, Castles galore, the incredible museums in London (The British  museum (Natural History), the Science Museum and the British Library.
See London from a whole new perspective from the London Eye!
If you feel brave, try and get the sentries to smile if you visit Buckingham Palace, and see if you can survive the Tower of London! Just don't touch the Crown Jewels!

We'll leave you here in the UK and we hope you enjoyed your COG World Tour, and especially your tour of Europe.
