Bride's Pool
The Bride's Pool waterfall is one of the most famous waterfalls in Hong Kong. But not so many people actually make it to the waterfall, as the only way to get there includes a 100m scramble over the rocks through the river. The water falls over a steep edge, and the lush vegetation on the banks make for a beautiful place.
The listed coordinates bring you to a sand bank at the tip of the plunge pool, the cache is hidden between the pile of rocks about 10m to the NE from there, next to the pool, well above the water level. GPS is unreliable due to the steep slopes.
When replacing the cache please make sure it's secure, as flood waters may swell really high.
Getting there.
From Tai Po Market MTR station you may take minibus 20C (Wu Kau Tang special departure, every 60-120 minutes daily) or KMB bus 275R (Sundays and holidays only), get off at Bride's Pool bus terminus.
Beware of flash floods!
This cache is next to a river, and access is through the river bed. As all rivers in Hong Kong this one may flood violently. Do not go there during or shortly after heavy rain, or when heavy rain is predicted.
