BYOP - bison tube attached to a guardian.
This cache has a 'rite in rain' log if you find it damp just dry it with a cloth.
Please remember that bison tubes need only be tightened until they are snug
if they are tightened right up hard it will compromise the o-ring and cause them to leak. Thanks



the elk pasture


Out in the forest when the snow blows cold
The elk are in the timber both the young and the old.
When it’s time for growing when the calves are small
They head for the clear cuts where the foods is best of all.

Out in the clear cuts when spring is in the air
Elk calves are playing and Mom is with them there.
When their time is over and their race is run
They often leave alone laying out there in the sun.

So when you’re out there caching whether spring or fall
Watch for the elk herd they are beautiful all in all.
But don’t forget your quest to earn a happy face
You can do them both in an elk pasture sort of place.
