Geocache Description:


The route takes you from Bockhampton Road in Lambourn over Thorn Hill to Rooksnest. The route then takes you to Lambourn Woodlands before returning you to Lambourn via the delightful Dance's Cottage. The route is approximately 5 miles in length and will require you to climb approximately 600 feet in total.
There are several gates and stiles to negotiate and it can get muddy.

I am particularly fond of this area in the spring and early summer because of the bluebells, cowslips and orchids. But you may well also encounter deer, buzzards and red kites on your way round.

There are 23 traditional caches for you to find as well as a multi-cache and a bonus puzzle cache. You may wish to print off the bonus cache page so that you can spot where the photo was taken as you make your way along the route.

At the listed coordinates you will need to look through the gate and count the total number of deciduous trees that line the gravel path. Call that number xy.
