This Cache has been long in the making.
It is located in Sumter National Forest.
The Cache is in front of this Black Granite Rock Waterfall.
Not a lot of water, but excellent to see.
Bring a pen!
FTF Honors goes to will3704! Great Job
I hope you all enjoy finding this cache as much as I had hiding it.
You are looking for a small tube. Half the size of a test tube.
The USFS Rangers do not want you to go into the waterfall or up the side of the hill.
As you look at the falls, move to see it from different angles. Please stay on hard dirt.
It would stand out like a sore thumb, BUT I covered it.
Thank you for the permission into the Sumter National Forest.
The USFS Stumphouse Rangers Station is where you must go to get permission.
This is about 1 mile further up the road from the Stumphouse Tunnel which has 2 great Caches there as well.
They do have some strick rules to minimize damage to the forest and to prevent harm to people.
They are open from 8am to Noon and then from 12:30 to 4:30.
They have excellent maps and guides for sale or FREE!!!!!!
