This is a solar powered talking microwave mailbox, as once featured in Australia's Funniest Home Videos. It's located 4.5km from the tiny township of Black Mountain, 8km off the New England Highway.
This is a mailbox at a private residence, but you're welcome to open it and have a listen to what it's got to say. Inside you will find a magnetic logbook, and possibly the occupant's mail. In time, I'll add other geocaches in the area. In the mean time, you can back-track to Thunderbolt's Cave (http://coord.info/GC3YM03), Malpas Dam (Not yet cached), or continue on to the wonderful walking trail around Dumaresq Dam (http://coord.info/GCPAW3) - note 10km of dirt road + 20km bitumen to get to Dumaresq dam, but it's usually in good condition.
