This is a great park BUT it does get locked at 2000 and costs $110 to get out after you may get locked in; so if it's late park at WP1 and it's only a short walk to GZ
This Cache is dedicated to our Son who died Nov 16 2012
Our wonderful third son passed away after a horrible car accident near here. We miss him so much. He was a funny, irreverent, and life loving boy. Many times he cached with me and our shared love of the Aussie Bush and camping and 4X4.
After he Passed Out at Forest Hill near Wagga Wagga as a RAAF Air Craftsman he had two months before reporting to RAAF Base Amberley to begin his training. So to keep up his fitness we would come down here and he would load his Aus Cam pack with weights and hike thru the river for strenth and resistance trg. He would then run, duck and Roll a game, Ute Dog thought, for training in military terms. We loved ' North Richmond Beach' from when the boys were little tackers till today. We now have Grand kids to bring down here and continue to love this beautiful area.
When he got to RAAF Amberley he was once tasked to do a job with a SGT that he didn't get on with but after they had done the job and they were driving back to basethe SGT pulled into a car park and pulled out a GPS and Aidan said 'I know what your doing!!!' and then he said ' It's over there!' 'dad and I found it last year'. They then became friends, as far as a boss and a newbie could be!
